Introduction

Jeong Hyun Yi is a Professor in the School of Software and the Director of the Cyber Security Research Center (CSEC) at Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from Soongsil University, Seoul, Korea, in 1993 and 1995, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information and computer science from the University of California, Irvine, in 2005. He was a Principal Researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Korea, from 2005 to 2008, and a member of research staff at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Korea, from 1995 to 2001. Between 2000 and 2001, he was a guest researcher at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Maryland, U.S. His research interests include mobile security and privacy, IoT security, and applied cryptography.
